Depending on a variety of factors, windows may need to be installed from inside or outside of a building.

New Construction Windows Can be Installed from Inside or Outside of a Home

For new construction, installation may occur from either inside or outside of the structure. Ultimately, it will depend on the framing used and the preference of the installer.

For instance, a third-story window may be safer to install from inside versus working on a ladder from outside.

Pocket Replacement Windows May be Installed from Inside or Outside a Home
