The ENERGY STAR program changed the requirements for windows to receive ENERGY STAR certification as of this week. All items manufactured after October 22, 2023, must meet updated energy efficiency requirements in order to receive an ENERGY STAR certification.
Additionally, central North Carolina is now considered part of the South-Central climate zone. Prior to October 22, 2023, Wake County was part of the North-Central climate zone.
